This week the green staff will be carrying out the following work on the course:
* General cutting
* Spraying the fairways with a selective weedkiller.
* Verti-cutting and light top dressing the greens to improve the trueness. This will
not disturb the putting surface.
* Deep slitting the greens, this is for airflow in the profile. This will not
disturb the putting surface.
The volunteers will be carrying out the following work:
* Starting the natural fencing on the 7th to try and prevent geese getting onto the
7th.
