This week the green staff will be:
-Needle tining the greens, this is for aeration on the green and should cause
minimal disruption to the surface
-Spraying a seed suppressant on the greens this is to stop seed production of the
plant, this control measure allows us to produce a better surface
-Spraying for weeds around the course
-General cutting (weather dependant)
-Shallow slitting, deep slitting and sorrel rolling the greens, this is for
aeration purposes
-Bunker maintenance
-Verti draining the fairways and walk on and off areas
-Top dressing the greens and tees this is to help smooth the surface and break down
thatch
