| This week the green staff will be: -coring and top dressing the tee tops for soil exchange purposes and to improve and level the tee surface. -clearing whips around the tees and greens to improve airflow. -verti-draining the tees and fairways to alleviate compaction and to help water pass through the profile -spraying a wetting agent to help water pass through the profile -shallow slitting and deep slitting the greens to improve air flow and for water movement All the work above will be weather dependant. – blowing leaves – general cutting The volunteers will be: -trimming hedges | |
